About
San Marcos Institute of Music began as a small passion project with just a few private students in the local community. As word spread and demand grew, founder Dr. Martin Kesuma saw an opportunity to create something more: a place where students could receive high-quality music education while remaining part of a warm and supportive community.
Today, San Marcos Institute of Music is owned and led by Ms. Arabella Abrera, who continues to build upon that foundation while guiding the school into its next chapter. Under her leadership, SMIM remains committed to creating an environment where students and families can grow together through music.
At the heart of our teaching is the belief that music is more than notes and rhythms. It is a way to develop discipline, perseverance, creativity, and confidence that can last a lifetime. Our approach combines clear expectations and thoughtful structure with attention to each student’s individual needs, helping learners stay engaged and make meaningful progress.

Our Monthly Rate:
30 minutes x 4 lessons = $160
